Worship: Meets irregularly during month, 11:00 am Sunday

About Darby Friends Meeting Darby Friends Meeting was organized in 1682 and meetings were originally held in the home of Darby founder John Blunston. The current meeting house (the third) located at 1017 Main Street was built in 1805 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Meeting for worship takes place on Sunday (first day) at 11:00 am in the manner of Friends, by sitting in silence and listening to that small voice within, to discern God's will. The term " Friends" (as in the Religious Society of Friends) comes from the words of Jesus: "Servants don't know what their master is doing, so I don't speak to you as my servants, I speak to you as my friends." (John 15-15)

Please join us when you can. Everyone is welcome!
